Council Of Seniors & Senior Organizations

COSSO studies and promote programs that affects and improve the quality of life for seniors in the greater Sacramento area.

COSSO acts as an independent, strong voice for seniors by advocating, sending letters and providing testimony about senior programs to agencies that make policy, provide funding, and deliver services.

COSSO is a communication hub for seniors throughout the greater Sacramento area.  We encourage and facilitate the process of cooperative planning and action for seniors.

COSSO seeks adequate funds from foundations, government agencies, other organizations, and other sources, to finance programs of the Council and other agencies and organizations which are consistent with the above listed purposes.
